StumbleUpon FAIRMONT CITY, Ill. A fire in a Metro East mobile home park has left at least four members of a family dead, two of them children. Fairmont City firefighters arrived just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday to find an injured man outside the burning home. Police say the man woke up to the sound of his children's mother screaming and jumped out a window to escape, suffering a severe cut in his arm. Police say the man broke windows and tried to re-enter the home where four other family members remained. His 2-year-old son, 4-year-old daughter, the children's mother and their uncle, all died. The Illinois State Fire Marshal has been called to investigate. The cause of the fire is unknown.
