RAMSAY'S KITCHEN NIGHTMARES USA
Never one to let his brand lie idle, firebrand celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is transporting his British-based Kitchen Nightmares series to the States. American restaurateurs won't know what's hit them when Ramsay starts slicing and dicing their cuisine, staff and work practices. As Ramsay puts it, in his usual diplomatic fashion: "I thought I found some s***holes in Britain, but nothing compares to the places I encountered in the States." His first assignment is sorting out Peter's Italian Restaurant, where hard-working owner Tina Pellegrino faces losing the family restaurant she took over a few years ago. Her spoiled brother Peter is the manager and the two have stand-up rows in front of the customers. Ramsay thinks Peter needs a wake-up call so he puts him in the kitchen to get his hands dirty. However, the move backfires when a fight breaks out and Peter storms off in a rage.
