Ricky McDonald Edmonds-Woodway High boys golf McDonald, a junior, shot a 3-under par 33 at Harbour Pointe Golf Club to earn medalist honors on March 24 in a three-team WesCo South meet. He edged the two runners-up by two strokes, making three birdies and six pars on the back nine. The next day McDonald shot a 2-over 35 to tie for third in a five-team WesCo South meet at Nile Golf and Country Club. Julia Nealer Lynnwood High fastpitch Nealer, a junior right-hander, tossed an eight-inning no-hitter Thursday to blank Edmonds-Woodway High 1-0. She struck out 12, including seven in a row in the first three innings, and allowed three walks. Kamiak High boys soccer team The Knights, coached by Garfield Scott, beat previously undefeated Jackson High 4-0 Friday to knock the Timberwolves out of first place in WesCo South.
