Doug Cherry, Sean Meehan and Julien Pollard also homered as Washington (18-8) overcame a 3-0 deficit against the Pilots (14-15). Scott, a 6-foot-5 first baseman from Auburn, finished 2 for 3 with three runs batted in. He hit a towering solo homer to right field in the fifth inning and a two-run shot to center in the sixth.
